Too much is being made of
indications that Hillary Clinton will press on with her campaign no matter what happens in today's primaries. She has little choice but to give her supporters those indications — imagine the signal she would be sending them if she said, instead, that this was her last desperate stand. Is that someone you'd vote for? If there is an Obama landslide today (results will come through in a few hours — keep refreshing
Drudge if you're really desparate to know), things would look very bad for Senator Clinton's campaign. But if, as is more likely, the result is close, that still does not help Clinton much — the
delegate numbers are very much against her. So don't rule out a gracious Clinton concession in the coming days.
