While President Bush is busy telling Europe he probably overdid the war-like rhetoric early in his presidency, John McCain is upping the ante:
Let me be clear, under my administration Osama bin Laden will either be killed on the battlefield or executed.
What, not even a show trial first? Is this kind of bloodlust really going to influence voters in the coming election? In the 2002 mid-terms, certainly. In 2004, maybe. But now?
