Who's the fairest of them all?

Since his election the Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, has experienced totalitarian-like approval ratings — 71% according to this Age/Nielsen poll with 69% preferring him as Prime Minister. If dissenting members of the Australian press were disappearing there might be reason to be suspicious, but no, it appears it's all above board and free speech is alive and well.

Further proof is this list received from a concerned reader: the world's hottest leaders. Our own PM's charm has apparently failed to reach this particular part of the blogosphere, since the compilers of the list were clearly not aware that 93rd place was, well, totally unacceptable.

At the top of the list there are some, admittedly, quite good looking world leaders, but 93? That's only just ahead of Hugo Chavez, Carl Gustaf and at 109, Angela Merkel. Kim Jong-il, who came last, is possibly the only leader whose ranking so perfectly matches his own approval rating at home.
