The clickable Middle East

Thanks to those of you who responded to my call last Friday for online resources on Iraq and the Gulf. Here are some more links:

• Marc recommends The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, and the Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies.
• Ned recommends Electronic Iraq, which looks very promising.
• Alistair suggests Marc Lynch's blog, known more popularly in the blogosphere as Abu Aardvark.

What's missing, so far, is some on-the-ground political commentary from the Gulf, perhaps from Western expats living and working there. Some of those people must maintain personal blogs, or are they all worried about losing their jobs?
