There's an interesting e-internship going at the US mission in Sydney. The job description says it's to:
Promote and regenerate public support for Australia-U.S. alliance by using social media to build understanding and trust among Australian youth.
Regenerate? Is it just coincidence that the 2010 Lowy Poll found:
Older Australians were more likely than younger Australians to say the alliance relationship was ‘very important’ (68% of those 60 years of age or older compared with 42% of 18 to 29 year olds).
